Just had to set up infrastructure for a project, which will make use of Sun’s new JavaFX technology. As I was the one proposing Continous Integration as well as JavaFX it felt quite uncomfortable to see that the way one would obtain a javafx compiler version 1.0 didn’t quite work for JavaFX 1.1.1. Gladly I have the solution now: Download this - file will telll you it’s simply a zip-archive - extract: Now you can compile javaFX on Linux, yeah!

Compile instructions? Well, calling the compiler works pretty well…
